My Journey Has Begun

So this is my first attempt at being a "blogger" and I have no idea what I'm really doing. Please be patient as you follow my journey with me; I promise, my blog will be cooler to follow towards the end of the semester than it is right now. Thanks for taking this journey with me and I look forward to following many of you on your journeys as well.

Evernote

So I've been trying out Evernote (as I'm a "list" kind of girl! ;) and I found it to be very handy when I was making my "to do" lists for moving. I had one note for the things we needed to do at our old place to get it ready for new renters (since we own it & are now renting it out), and another note for other moving related things I needed to do. I am now using it to try & manage all the school related assignments & tasks. I also am going to try to use it to track my travel/ mileage for work throughout the month (tho I've missed inputting a few trips so that hasn't gone quite as planned).

Is anyone else using Evernote & if so, how have you found it to be helpful?

  1. I've been loving Evernote as well! I use it for lists and for dictation notes since it can handle audio and image files too. I do a lot of practical exams with students and would like to begin using it after each student's exam to dictate comments to be shared with them on their feedback forms.

    Great tool!

  2. I use Evernote for meetings and classes only. For my "To Do" lists (work and personal), I use Remember the Milk (RTM). RTM syncs with both Gmail and Microsoft Outlook. An app for mobile devices is available as well.
